Langton in the Twentieth Century by Reg Saville

This record of Langton Matravers in the twentieth century was written by Reg Saville.  It forms the last part of a magnificent detailed account of the history of Langton Matravers from prehistoric times right through to the new millennium.  It was intended to be published in a limited edition as Reg’s ‘gift’ to Langton, but this never happened.  The extract found in these pages, however, stands in its own right and provides a fascinating account of the development of Langton Matravers from 1900 until the turn of the century.

The extract is in four parts:
The First Half of the Century
The Second World War Era
The Second Half of the Century
The New Millennium
